majestic = very big and impressive

sleaze = dishonest or immoral activity

scepticism = in doubt whether something is true or right

silhouette = a dark shape or shadow on a light background

tamper = to change something without the permission (in lieu to damage it)

exasperate = to make someone feel very annoyed

awe-inspiring = very impressive, a lot of respect and admiration

haul = to pull something heavy or to pull hard

fastidious = paying lots of attention to small details

snippet = a small piece or brief extract

dwell on = to think/talk about something bad/unpleasant

undergrowth= bushes and plants that grow round bigger tree

malarkey = meaningless talk, nonsense

mope = to feel unhappy and not try to become cheerful again

contented = happy and satisfied

heartfelt = sincerely, deeply felt

scour = search thoroughly

lustrous = brilliant splendour

dilapidated = old and in very bad condition

minimalist = simple, modest, discreet

aptitude = a natural ability or skill at something

rampant = commonly increasing
